Say goodbye to dark garden corners with plants that offer vibrant color and tantalizing texture

Like rays of sunshine, the wispy blades of Evercolor® ‘Everillo’ Carex illuminate the shade garden. Repeat individual plants along a woodland path or border planting for bursts of color, or plant in groups for a glowing groundcover. The fine foliage pairs well with ‘Soft Caress’ Mahonia, which provides lush texture, a dark backdrop, and seasonal sprays of yellow blooms. Echo the golden hues with the more subdued chartreuse foliage of ‘Lemon Lime’ Nandina. This plant combination performs equally well planted in mass or repeated in small groupings throughout the shade garden. With compact growth, the trio can also be tucked into a large container for brilliant color anywhere.
