Snip and Clip Christmas Candle Decorating Idea

Not everyone has french hens for the 12 Days of Christmas, but it's easy to gather French Vanilla candles!

This year, upcycle or purchase large candles and pair with ribbon and clippings of Yewtopia® Plum Yew. It's simple, fun, and will add the perfect Christmas scent to your indoor living space!

Step 1: Clip branches of Yewtopia® Plum Yew and allow clippings to soak in water overnight.

Step 2: Gather supplies.

Tip: Choose cake plate size and other decorations based on your own personal style!

Step 3: Remove lower leaves from Yewtopia clippings. These can easily be pulled off.

Step 4: Measure out ribbon to fit around your candle. Leave a little bit extra to allow for inserting Yewtopia clippings later.

Step 5: Using a hot glue gun, carefully place a dot of glue toward the bottom of your candle. Place ribbon on top to adhere to candle, wrap around, and glue ends together.

Tip: Don't glue the end peices to the candle. There should be only one place on your candle where the ribbon is directly adhered.

Step 6: Gently place your prepped Yewtopia clippings under the ribbon.

Tip: Begin placing on opposing sides first, then fill in the gaps.

Step 7: Arrange on your cake stand with additional decorations, and enjoy!
