Punica granatum Parfianka
Identified with highest praise and even named the best-tasting pomegranate during taste tests, this upright, vigorous variety bears fruit heavily. Characterized by large red fruit with small edible seeds, it is sweet with a hint of acidity – perfect fresh or for juice. Self-fruitful, it blooms in late winter to spring, and can be maintained at any height with summer pruning. Ideally-suited for zones 7-10 with 100 to 200 chill hours.
